Wildness

We live in a world that is incredibly domesticated. A world of concrete, computers, machinery, and the 9 – 5. Ofcourse, it’s not all bad. There’s heaps of cool stuff about modern living too, that’s for sure. But it’s just to say that we have been disconnected from the natural world and the natural ways of living. It is what it is, but when you feel the ways of modern living strangling your life force, then I’m sorry, but something’s got to go.

Wildness is a part of your natural inner connection to nature and the natural world. It is the part of you that yearns to be free, unchained, and uninhibited. It is the part of you that doesn’t want to follow the rules when they make no sense. It is the part of you that doesn’t want to play society’s game, when you can see that that road doesn’t look great for you. It’s the part of you that wants to be natural.

Ofcourse, your wildness must be tempered with wisdom and self-discipline. One must be wary of the rules, laws and regulations of the world. One must live with common sense. It’s all a bit of a fine balance, but embracing a bit of your wild side in life can definitely be beneficial.

Your wildness can help you break out of limiting situations. It can help propel you into deeper levels of freedom and quality of life. And it can help you put life into perspective and develop a connection to nature and something deeper within.
